Tower In-charge / Assistant Project Manager

About the role

Our client needs a Tower In-charge / Assistant Project Manager for a running high-rise building project in Mumbai. You will own one tower end to end: the construction programme and slab cycle, the site engineers and supervisors, subcontractors, quality and safety, and progress reporting to the project manager. The role suits a senior site engineer who has already led a tower or a large building.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and run the tower's construction programme and slab cycle
• Lead the site engineers, supervisors, foremen and subcontractors on the tower
• Coordinate materials, plant, drawings and approvals with the planning, P&M and design teams
• Make sure quality and safety standards are met on every floor
• Review progress daily, resolve site issues and report to the project manager

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience leading the execution of a high-rise tower or a large building
• Strong knowledge of RCC structures, formwork systems and finishing sequences
• Team leadership and subcontractor management
