Project Manager

About the role

A leading construction group is hiring a Project Manager for government building projects at its site in Gopalganj, Bihar. The role leads project execution from planning through handover. The Project Manager owns schedules, budgets, quality and site safety, coordinates contractors and consultants, and reports progress to management and clients. Experience in government projects is required, with exposure to public building construction agencies preferred. ₹9.60 to ₹13.20 lakh per year.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of government building projects from start to handover
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets and resource plans
• Coordinate contractors, consultants and site teams
• Ensure quality, safety and statutory compliance on site
• Review progress, resolve site issues and report to management
• Manage billing, measurement and documentation with clients
• Guide and supervise site engineers and supervisors

Requirements

• 12–18 years of experience in construction project management
• Experience in government projects
• Preferred exposure to public building construction agencies
• Strong planning, coordination and leadership skills
• Knowledge of billing, measurement and contract documentation
• Willingness to undergo background verification and submit a character certificate
