Project Manager (Civil)

About the role

Our client needs a civil Project Manager at Jewar to help plan, coordinate and oversee civil works so they are delivered within scope, budget and timeline. The role combines project coordination, technical oversight and team management, working closely with the Project Lead, subcontractors and the client.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Lead in planning, coordinating and overseeing civil engineering projects
• Help develop and review designs, specifications and drawings
• Manage project schedules, budgets and resources effectively
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors and clients
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications
• Prepare technical reports, change orders and project documentation
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
• Support quality control processes and ensure adherence to safety standards and codes
• Contribute to client presentations and progress meetings
• Support procurement of civil equipment and materials
• Help prepare project proposals and cost estimates

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 10–15+ years of total experience in civil engineering projects, including 3–5 years on industrial buildings, factories or commercial buildings
• Strong knowledge of civil works, construction methodologies and site management
• Proficiency in civil design software (e.g. AutoCAD Civil)
• Familiarity with relevant civil codes, standards and regulations
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and organisational skills
