Planning Engineer

About the role

An established construction group is hiring a Planning Engineer for government building projects at its site in Gopalganj, Bihar. The role owns project planning and progress monitoring. The Planning Engineer prepares schedules, tracks progress against baselines, prepares reports and coordinates with site and procurement teams. Experience in government projects is required, with preferred exposure to public building construction agencies and construction companies. ₹6.00 to ₹20.00 lakh per year.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare project schedules and baselines
• Monitor progress against schedules and flag delays
• Prepare planning reports and dashboards for management
• Coordinate with site, procurement and billing teams on schedules
• Review resource and material plans against project timelines
• Support claims and extension-of-time documentation

Requirements

• 5–20 years of planning experience in construction
• Experience in government projects
• Preferred exposure to public building construction agencies
• Preferred exposure to a construction company
• Knowledge of planning and scheduling software
• Willingness to undergo background verification and submit a character certificate
