Site Supervisor

About the role

Our client is hiring Site Supervisors for running high-rise sites in Mumbai and for a new high-rise project in Mumbai (RCC and finishing works) that starts within the next three months. Supervisors run the work face: allocating labour every day, supervising reinforcement, shuttering and concreting, and making sure the work matches the drawings and the engineer's instructions. Quality, safety and daily output are the main measures of the role.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate daily work to labour gangs and subcontractors
• Supervise reinforcement, shuttering, concreting and de-shuttering
• Follow the drawings and the site engineer's instructions, and flag problems early
• Track materials and daily output and report progress
• Enforce safety rules and housekeeping on the floor

Requirements

• Hands-on supervision experience in building construction, preferably high-rise
• Practical knowledge of RCC work: reinforcement, shuttering and concreting
• Able to read basic structural drawings
• Experience managing labour and subcontractor gangs
