Site Engineer

About the role

Our client is hiring Site Engineers for running high-rise sites in Mumbai. You will run day-to-day RCC execution on your floors and areas: checking reinforcement and shuttering before every pour, supervising concreting, following the drawings and method statements, and keeping labour and subcontractors on programme. The role reports to the tower in-charge / project manager and works closely with the QA/QC and safety teams. There are five openings across two running sites.

Key responsibilities

• Execute RCC works as per approved drawings, specifications and method statements
• Check reinforcement, shuttering and embedded items before every concrete pour
• Supervise concreting, curing and de-shuttering
• Plan daily work with supervisors and foremen and keep labour and subcontractors productive
• Maintain daily progress reports, pour records and checklists
• Coordinate with the QA/QC, safety, planning and billing teams

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering
• Site execution experience on high-rise building construction
• Able to read structural and architectural drawings
• Working knowledge of quality and safety practice on site
