Shuttering Foreman

About the role

Our client needs Shuttering Foremen for one of its running high-rise sites in Mumbai and for a new high-rise project in Mumbai (RCC and finishing works) that starts within the next three months. You will lead the carpentry and formwork gangs that erect, align and strip formwork for columns, walls, beams and slabs, so that every pour is ready on time and true to line and level.

Key responsibilities

• Lead formwork gangs to erect, align and secure shuttering for columns, walls, beams and slabs
• Check line, level, plumb and supports before concreting
• Plan de-shuttering and the reuse of formwork to keep the slab cycle on track
• Look after formwork material and report shortages and damage
• Follow the safety rules for work at height

Requirements

• Hands-on formwork / shuttering experience on building sites, preferably high-rise
• Able to read formwork and structural drawings
• Experience leading a gang of carpenters or shuttering workers
