Senior Engineer

About the role

An established construction group is hiring a Senior Engineer for government building projects at its site in Gopalganj, Bihar. The role supports the Project Manager in day-to-day site execution. The Senior Engineer supervises site works, checks quality and measurements, coordinates contractors and labour, and maintains site records and progress reports. Experience in government projects is required, with exposure to public building construction agencies preferred. ₹6.00 to ₹8.00 lakh per year.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day execution of building works on site
• Check quality of work and materials against specifications
• Take measurements and support billing documentation
• Coordinate contractors, labour and material deliveries
• Maintain site records, drawings and progress reports
• Report progress and site issues to the Project Manager

Requirements

• 8–12 years of site engineering experience
• Experience in government projects
• Preferred exposure to public building construction agencies
• Ability to handle a site independently
• Knowledge of measurement, billing and quality checks
• Willingness to undergo background verification and submit a character certificate
