Scaffolding Inspector

About the role

Our client is hiring a Scaffolding Inspector for a new high-rise project in Mumbai (RCC and finishing works) that starts within the next three months. You will inspect scaffolds and access platforms before use and at regular intervals, tag them, and make sure they are erected, altered and dismantled safely.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect scaffolds and working platforms before first use and periodically
• Tag scaffolds and keep inspection records
• Check erection, alteration and dismantling against the standards
• Stop unsafe work and get defects corrected
• Train workers in safe scaffold use with the safety team

Requirements

• Experience inspecting scaffolding on construction sites
• Knowledge of scaffolding safety standards
• Scaffolding inspection training or certification preferred
