Safety Engineer

About the role

Our client is hiring two Safety Engineers for a new high-rise project in Mumbai (RCC and finishing works) that starts within the next three months. You will run site safety: inductions, permits, inspections and toolbox talks, with particular attention to work at height, lifting and formwork.

Key responsibilities

• Run site inductions and toolbox talks
• Manage permits to work for work at height, hot work and lifting
• Inspect the site daily and get unsafe acts and conditions corrected
• Report and investigate incidents
• Maintain safety documentation, run audits and lead the safety stewards

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in engineering with a recognised safety qualification
• Experience as a safety engineer on construction sites, preferably high-rise
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations
