Rebar Foreman

About the role

Our client needs two Rebar Foremen for a new high-rise project in Mumbai (RCC and finishing works) that starts within the next three months. You will lead the bar-bending and steel-fixing gangs so that reinforcement is cut, bent and fixed to the bar bending schedule before every pour.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the bar-bending and steel-fixing gangs
• Cut, bend and fix reinforcement as per the drawings and BBS
• Check cover, spacing, laps and chairs before pours
• Keep steel wastage down and report consumption
• Follow the site safety rules

Requirements

• Hands-on reinforcement / bar-bending experience on building sites, preferably high-rise
• Able to read reinforcement drawings and the BBS
• Experience leading a steel-fixing gang
