Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Our client is hiring an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a National Highways (NHAI) road project in Durg, Chhattisgarh. The role covers the full quantity and billing cycle at site: measurements, BOQ, RA bills, quantity reconciliation, variations and subcontractor billing. It needs someone who has done this on NHAI or highway projects and can step in quickly, so candidates who can join immediately or at short notice are preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Take quantities and record measurements of executed work in the Measurement Book (MB)
• Prepare and track the BOQ for highway works
• Prepare RA bills and get them certified
• Reconcile quantities and materials against the BOQ and drawings
• Prepare and process variations and extra items
• Check and certify subcontractor bills against site measurements
• Coordinate with the site and project team on quantities and billing

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in billing
• NHAI / highway project experience is mandatory
• Strong in quantity take-off, measurements, BOQ and RA billing
• Experience in quantity reconciliation, variations and subcontractor billing
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD
• Immediate or short-notice joiners preferred
