QA/QC Managers to lead quality on high-rise building projects in Mumbai. 3 openings, including the QA/QC head for a new project.

About the role

Our client is hiring QA/QC Managers for high-rise building projects in Mumbai: two for a running site, and a QA/QC head for a new high-rise project in Mumbai (RCC and finishing works) that starts within the next three months. You will set up and run the quality system on site, lead the QA/QC engineers and the laboratory, and be the point of contact for the developer's and consultants' quality teams.

Key responsibilities

Set up and run the project quality plan, inspection and test plans and checklists
Lead the QA/QC engineers and the site laboratory
Approve materials, mix designs and vendors, and oversee testing
Run audits, track non-conformances to closure and drive corrective action
Report quality status to project management and the client's consultants

Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering
Experience leading QA/QC on building projects, preferably high-rise
Strong knowledge of IS codes, concrete technology and quality systems
Team leadership and client-facing communication
