QA/QC Engineer

About the role

Our client is hiring QA/QC Engineers for running high-rise sites in Mumbai and for a new high-rise project in Mumbai (RCC and finishing works) that starts within the next three months. You will inspect and test the work at every stage, from reinforcement and shuttering checks before pours to concrete testing and finishing inspections, and keep the quality records that the client's consultants audit.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect reinforcement, shuttering and embedded items before concrete pours
• Carry out and record tests on concrete and materials with the site laboratory
• Do stage-wise inspections of RCC and finishing works against approved checklists
• Raise non-conformance reports and close them with the execution team
• Maintain inspection and test plans, checklists and quality documentation

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering
• QA/QC experience on building construction, preferably high-rise
• Knowledge of the relevant IS codes and material testing
• Good documentation and reporting
