Plant Engineer (P&M)

About the role

Our client is hiring a Plant & Machinery Engineer with 12 to 15 years of experience, including high-rise projects, for a new high-rise project in Mumbai (RCC and finishing works) that starts within the next three months. You will plan, install and keep running the site's plant and machinery, such as tower cranes, hoists, concrete pumps and DG sets, and lead the electricians and the P&M crew.

Key responsibilities

• Plan the plant and machinery the project needs
• Install, erect and commission cranes, hoists and other equipment
• Run preventive maintenance and handle breakdowns
• Arrange statutory inspections and certification of lifting equipment
• Track fuel and equipment logs and lead the electricians and P&M crew

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 12–15 years in construction plant and machinery, including high-rise projects
• Experience with tower cranes, hoists and concrete pumps
