Electrical Site Engineer

About the role

Our client is an established electrical contracting company in Mumbai that carries out the complete electrical works for multi-storey residential buildings put up by reputed Mumbai developers. Its projects are in Thane, Powai, Chembur and Panvel. They are hiring Electrical Site Engineers who can take full charge of a site on their own: work from the AutoCAD electrical drawings, plan and supervise the wiring teams, meet the developer's standards for quality and progress, and take the building from conduiting in the slabs through to testing and handover. This is a hands-on site role. Salary: ₹45,000 to ₹50,000 a month, all inclusive.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a full site independently: plan the electrical work, allocate the wiring teams and track daily progress
• Read and work from AutoCAD electrical drawings: point layouts, single-line diagrams, risers and DB schedules
• Supervise conduiting in slabs and walls, wiring, cabling, DBs and panels, earthing and fittings in flats and common areas
• Coordinate with the developer's engineers, the civil contractor and the other services on site
• Keep quality and safety up, carry out testing and get the work inspected and cleared
• Raise material requirements, keep site records and prepare measurements for billing
• Report progress to the office and the developer's team

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering
• 8–10 years in electrical works for multi-storey residential or commercial buildings
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD electrical drawings
• Working knowledge of computers (Excel, email)
• Hands-on: on site with the wiring teams every day
• Able to handle a full site independently
• Able to work at the sites in Thane, Powai, Chembur or Panvel
