BIM Lead – Infrastructure (Civil 3D)

About the role

Our client, an engineering and BIM services firm in North Bengaluru, is hiring a BIM Lead for its infrastructure team. You will lead the Civil 3D modelling of roads, utilities and grading works, coordinate models across disciplines, run clash detection, review construction drawings before issue, and build up a team of Civil 3D modellers. This is a full-time, office-based leadership role for an engineer with 8–12 years of hands-on Civil 3D experience who has already led or mentored a BIM team. The budget is 15–18 lakh per annum, and the client needs someone who can join within 15 days.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of civil engineering models in AutoCAD Civil 3D (roads, utilities, grading)
• Coordinate and integrate Civil 3D models from multiple disciplines
• Run advanced clash detection and resolve complex conflicts
• Review and approve construction drawings for accuracy and compliance with project requirements
• Mentor and train junior Civil 3D modellers
• Set up Civil 3D execution plans and standards with project stakeholders
• Keep the team current on new tools and practices in Civil 3D and infrastructure BIM

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 8–12 years of experience, with extensive hands-on work in AutoCAD Civil 3D on infrastructure projects
• Expert knowledge of clash detection and model coordination
• Strong command of construction documentation and drawing standards
• Experience leading a BIM team and mentoring modellers
• Proven record of delivering complex projects
• Good communication and stakeholder management
• Able to join within 15 days
