Billing Engineer

About the role

A leading construction group is hiring a Billing Engineer for government building projects at its site in Gopalganj, Bihar. The role handles measurement, billing and contract documentation. The Billing Engineer prepares bills and measurement sheets, verifies quantities, tracks variations and coordinates with clients and site teams. Experience in government projects is required, with preferred exposure to public building construction agencies and construction companies. ₹5.00 to ₹7.00 lakh per year.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare measurement sheets and running account bills
• Verify quantities against drawings and site measurements
• Track variations, extra items and claims
• Coordinate with clients and consultants on bill certification
• Maintain billing records and contract documentation
• Support cost monitoring and reconciliation with accounts

Requirements

• 5–20 years of billing or quantity surveying experience
• Experience in government projects
• Preferred exposure to public building construction agencies
• Preferred exposure to a construction company
• Knowledge of measurement, billing and contract procedures
• Willingness to undergo background verification and submit a character certificate
